In my artistic practice I deal with themes related to the notion of game, occurring both in the world of art and beyond it, as a domain functioning in opposition to the rules governing the real world (after Arthur C. Danto’s notion of Real World).
The internal logic of any game assumes the existence of both winners and losers. Structures of inequality, rigged games, and favored leaders are often images and metaphors that accompany descriptions of the world in which we move every day.
I am also interested in the tension between formalism and conceptualism: in creating objects and spatial installations which, while preserving their formal aspects, would not lose their conceptual layer.
